About Us

Company Overview

Wright Technology Group was started in 2004 by Howard Wright as a business striving to provide exceptional customer service. After working for 15 years prior in IT, and years before that in service positions, Howard understood there was a need for consistent, reliable IT support and management for local businesses.

Today, Wright Technology Group is just as passionate about technology as we are about customer service. We pride ourselves on not just being a leader in technology, but also developing an environment of trust and accessibility not just our clients, but our employees, who ultimately make our business what it is today.

Our vision is to be the select technology provider in Eastern MA, providing superior service based on trust and reliability.

Remembering Bill Holloway

Cancer sucks.

In November 2023, we lost our friend and CFO, Bill Holloway, to cancer. We extend our deepest condolences to Bill’s family. Bill has been an important and integral part of the Wright Technology fabric.

Bill and I met nearly 40 years ago while refereeing hockey games. We quickly became friends. Since meeting, Bill did my taxes every year. The cost? A 12 pack, which we consumed before the taxes were even completed.

When I started my business 20 years ago, I asked Bill for some help with my QuickBooks. He had barely glanced at it when he vowed that I would never touch QB again. And so, our journey together began.

Our agreement was that Bill would handle the finances and I would handle the technology.  During this time, WTG has tripled in size, to which a great deal is attributed to Bill’s guidance and savviness.

A few weeks ago, Bill and I were reminiscing about our time together and what became clear was that at the end of the day, it wasn’t necessarily about the money.  It was the challenge of building a business together and following our vision of how we can deliver a better customer service experience and a great work environment for our team members.

As Bill said during our time reminiscing, it has been one hell of a ride.  Indeed, my dear friend, it has been.
